7. WaterFire

6. The John Brown House Museum

Indulge your curiosity about Rhode Island’s history with this culture-rich experience.  During your visit to this museum, you’ll see and experience furniture, sculpture, artwork, silver, porcelain, textiles, and other selections from their extensive collections, 18th-century wall maps depicting a very different world view, and a fully restored 18th-century carriage.  More info can be found on the Rhode Island Historical Society’s website.

5. Rhode Island School of Design Museum

This internationally renowned museum features over 80,000 works of art, and even features a 12th century Japanese Buddha with nearby benches for meditating.  If you enjoy the performing arts, this stop is for you.  More info can be found at the RISD website.
